FAQ

Why should I use WordPress for my website?

Over 33% of the internet is running on WordPress, and that’s for good reason. WordPress is designed to be SEO friendly, easy to maintain, and easy to keep up to date. Our favorite part about WordPress is that it’s easy to use. If you’re able to use Microsoft Word successfully, you’ll have no trouble learning the ropes. Especially once we train you.

Does my site need to be mobile friendly?

Absolutely. In the last 10 years, mobile traffic has risen from less than 1% of total web traffic, all the way to 52+%.

What’s the difference between a mobile site and a responsive site?

Mobile sites are usually separate versions of the desktop site that are meant to be accessed only from a mobile device. These sites are (thankfully) dying out and being replaced with responsive sites. Responsive web design means that a website adjusts itself to each individual device and screen size. With a responsive site, your content will look great on any screen.

How does Creative80 work? What can I expect?

We’ve developed a step-by-step process that will help us knock your website design out of the park. When you receive your project blueprint, you’ll also get a project timeline. You’ll always know what to expect from us, and what is coming next.

What kinds of companies does Creative80 work with?

We work with companies of all sizes in all industries. We’ve even developed a bit of a niche as a web design firm for musicians. We’ve done work for businesses with yearly revenue below $200,000 and above $100M. We’ve also created sites for businesses in professional services, manufacturing, product marketing, and non profits.

Does Creative80 work with businesses outside of the Dallas, Texas area?

Yes. In fact, about 70% of our customers are located outside of Texas. We love to meet face to face whenever we have the chance, but believe we can have deep and meaningful relationships with our customers from anywhere.

Will Creative80 help me create content for my new site?

We’ll do whatever it takes to make your new website successful. We have successful copywriters on staff who can write content, or simply help polish it up and make sure it’s optimized for search.

Can I use the web host I already have?

When it comes time to launch your site, we’ll handle all of the necessary development and implementation aspects. If you have a web host that you are happy with, who meets are minimum requirements, we are happy to deploy your new site to that server. If however, we feel that your host does not have adequate resources or security features, we will strongly suggest moving to another host.

Will you train me to use my new website?

Absolutely. We love turning over the keys to a website once it’s been launched. Of course, we’re here to help if you’d rather we handle things in the future, but you will have the option of maintaining your own site. After the project is complete, you’ll receive in person (in the DFW metroplex) or screenshare based training. You’ll also get a documentation booklet with instructions and photos specifically created for your website.

How much does a website cost?

Each site we build is unique and designed to meet your company needs. Because of that, there is no “one size fits all” price point. We’ll make sure we understand what your goals are, and how we plan to accomplish them, before we begin calculating cost. To give you an idea of our pricing, most sites range between $2,000 and $10,000.
